Tiny homes are taking the nation by storm, and we want you to join in on the fun! Make your family vacation a BIG one this summer and stay with us on the Jellystone Park™ Tiny Home RV Tour! Starting in May, three Tumbleweed Tiny Homes will be traveling down the East Coast on their debut tour.

And the best part: we left the decorating up to our campers! With the Jellystone Park™ Tiny Home RV Tour Designer Challenge, tiny home and camping lovers from all over the country submitted their ideas for paint colors, kitchen design, and furniture for these cozy Tiny Homes.

With a plethora of designs to choose from, we certainly had a hard time narrowing down the entries for the Designer Challenge. But when it came time to pick, there was one design that incorporated colorful palettes, unique pieces, and imaginative inspiration from the Yogi Bear™ characters, which stood out to us as the clear winner!

Our Winner!

We’re excited to announce Kristin Rieke of RAK’Designs the winner of our Tiny Home Designer Challenge!

With a background in interior design and construction, the award-winning designer creates gorgeous homes in Kansas City’s most sought-after neighborhoods. Through her interior design services and passion for design, Kristin delights her clients with her functional and truly unique spaces. Her favorite part, however, is helping her clients craft a home that is the background for a lifetime of family memories.

I love the emotional part [of designing] the most,” explains Kristin. “Being able to design an ‘interior’ space that people visit, live, play, relax, have holidays and make memories in is priceless.”

Her Vision:

Kristin’s plans include three separate but cohesive homes inspired by Yogi Bear™, Cindy Bear™, and Boo Boo Bear™. Each tiny home has its own unique feel to it with eye-catching colors and designs, stand out furnishings, and a cute and cozy feel to each home that will make you want to get a tiny home of your own! Kristin has been working closely with designers from Tumbleweed and Jellystone Park™ to bring her vision to life.

“I love crafting designs for out-of-the-ordinary spaces,” says Kristin. “The tiny homes challenge piqued my interest due to their unique nature and saw it as a fun design challenge for myself.”

“To be able to utilize my knowledge of design and apply it to a tiny home is proving to be very exciting, and the added influence of Yogi Bear applies yet another facet of design interest,” adds Kristin. “My Uncle growing up always quoted Yogi Bear to my brother and me, and this design challenge really ties in everything that I love most: my family, nature and design.”

Kristin’s next step is to move inside as she decorates the interior. She has some unique and exciting ideas which she will implement when she stays at our Gardiner, NY location during the installation process. As our new Tiny Home designer, we’re excited to see what she comes up with!

Something that will pique their interest and hopefully keep them coming back to visit!?”

The Tiny Homes will be in Gardiner from May 21st – 28th and available to tour on Saturday, May 20. Book your stay today and live large in our tiny homes!
